A few weeks ago PETform was exhibiting what has been its first complete mold (not including the Hot-Runner) for the Latin American market. This mold was sold through PET Packaging Network to a customer in Paraguay.
Our cooperation with PETform towards developing the Latin American market goes back several years. During this time we have been working on many projects and achieved successes on different fronts, however, until now PETform had not yet placed a complete injection mould with its Cold-Half, Take-Out Plate and Cool-Pick Plate.
This particular mould has 32 cavities for producing 14.5 gram preforms on a Husky HyPET 120 injection moulding machine. In addition, an extra set of cores was sold to inject heavier preforms (19.5gr) while maintaining the external overall geometry.
Up until now, we had been very successful by providing refurbishment and conversions kits, during this time PETform demonstrated their extensive knowledge and experience, always offering a satisfactory customer service.
