One of the most recent innovations in cooling equipment is the Adiabatic System. The novelty of this system lies in the placement of cellulose boards soaked in water over the dry cooler’s air inlet (coolers by ambient aire, without refrigeration compressors). The water curtain thus created humidifies to the point of saturation (95%) the ambient air going into the coolers, and reduces its temperature more than 8° C.
Additionally, the fans’ speed and the water flow through this cellulose boards varies according to the cooling needs.
As a result, the Adiabatic System increases the coolers’ performance, improving the system’s energy efficiency. This technology is particularly indicated for processing in extreme conditions, or locations with high temperatures.
